In 2012, Sushi d’Aro opened as the first sushi restaurant in Platja d’Aro. Back then, photographing dinner was not yet part of the ritual. What mattered was good product, a counter guided by judgement and care, and guests who came to take their time.
Much has changed since then, except what matters. The fish is chosen daily, the meats come from the best suppliers, and our technique never hides the product — it accompanies it.
Torched rolls, omakase for two and seasonal pairings sum up how we move forward without ever losing the house’s thread.
Experience gives perspective, not permission to rest on our laurels. That is why the menu keeps moving and the counter keeps refining every service.

Fresh fish and local produce, chosen every morning. The market decides, the menu obeys.
FIRE WITH GOOD MANNERS
The blowtorch sears, smokes and awakens the fish just before serving, without masking its flavour. Brief fire, full flavour, as it should be.
VEGETABLES WITH A NAME OF THEIR OWN
Green Roll, Midori, Minemo and vegetable gyozas. A vegetarian selection conceived from the ingredient, not as an afterthought.
